The sexual tension was scorching hot last week! If you missed it, scroll down to the post and enjoy.
This Friday we are featuring Hot Encounters between our characters! Whether it be the first time they meet, or one of the many times after then that they come across each other.
Today, I'm sharing a flirty scene. After Jess mumbles an expletive, or two, about being up so early on a Saturday morning, Matthew takes her to a golf course and does a little bit of warming her up.
“You afraid of a woman driving?” I asked. We jerked forward as he released the brake, causing me to grip his thigh and look up at him.
“Just so you know, I’m an exceptional driver.” He peered straight into my eyes and leaned in closer. “And I plan on showing you just how exceptional,” he said with a wink.
I sighed, saddened he withheld a kiss, then smiled despite the strange butterfly feeling that had returned to my stomach upon hearing that dirty mind of his—a dirty mind that I had every intention of playing with.
So at the next tee, I pulled out my three wood and slapped it hard against the ground. “Got wood?”
A sly grin crossed his face as he removed an iron from his bag, then looked at me. “I’m confident it’ll be long enough.”
“I looked toward the flag, hiding my grin caused by Matthew’s sexy banter. He was making me needy. “Yep, I definitely need wood,” I said, fondling the top of the club, sliding my hand suggestively up and down the grip.
“I drive well and I drive hard. And I’ve been known to be pretty good at the hole in one.” His grin was now wider than Michigan Avenue is long.
I pushed against my club for support. “Hole in one, you say? I’d love that.”
I’d love to feel that, to explode with passion around that, and do that all over again. Just that . . .
Earth to Jess.
